From 1 May 2026, OpenDIMS will transition to automatic card payment to ensure stable operations and provide access to new, intelligent AI tools. Learn how to update your account and avoid interruptions in your integrations.

From May 1, 2026, OpenDIMS will introduce an important update to our payment structure. To ensure a more stable, secure, and up-to-date platform, we’re phasing out manual billing for all accounts that aren’t on an OpenDIMS Enterprise plan. In the future, payment will be made automatically via credit card.

Why switch to card payment?

The transition to automatic card payment is about more than just administration. It’s about ensuring that your business never experiences unnecessary disruptions.

1. No more manual errors and forgotten invoices

Manual invoice processing is time-consuming and vulnerable to human error. A missed email or a delayed bank transfer can lead to your account being suspended. By linking a credit card, everything runs in the background, so you can spend your time growing your business instead of keeping an eye on due dates.

2. Uninterrupted data sync and reliability

OpenDIMS is the engine of many companies’ technical setup. Our integrations handle critical data around products, inventory, and orders in real-time. If a payment fails in the old manual system, these syncs stop. With automatic checkout, you minimize the risk of your webshop integrations stalling, ensuring that your customers always see the correct stock figures and prices.

Consequences of inaction

If you’re not on an Enterprise plan and haven’t linked a payment card by May 1, 2026, your account will be downgraded. This will cause your integrations to stop updating and you risk losing your unique system settings. We therefore encourage all our users to get this sorted out in good time.

How to update your payment information

It only takes a few moments to secure your account. Follow these four simple steps:

  1. Log in to your OpenDIMS account.

  2. Navigate to the Administration menu and select Payment Information.

  3. Click on the Authorize Card button and enter your card details in the secure payment window.

  4. Authenticate with MitID (or your preferred 2-factor solution) to complete the verification.

When you see the green confirmation “Credit Card Authorized Successfully”, you are ready for the future in OpenDIMS.
